I’d add, if we want a response to suffering, if we want to understand how we are to react to the unjust, the unfair, the unreasonable suffering and pain we experience ourselves and through the agony of others, we need only look to Mary.
The world took her son and put Him through great agony, and she is there at the Cross, she watched and endured it all without railing at the world (us), or God, and of all of us, she had cause.
