It’s hard to believe it’s been a week. It’s hard to believe that Christmas has gone, like so many before it – and yet, so different. As I boggle and ponder, with my belly full of food from “the best restaurant in town” and my mind full of conversation from “the amazing writing mentor,” I can’t help but savor the last tingles on my tongue. Oh, there’s a lot more to say. But I don’t need to, do I? You’ve had this kind of Christmas before, this kind of trip, this kind of Adventure. You’ve smiled and cried too, haven’t you? You’ve marveled and giggled and snorted along the way. And tomorrow, we’ll get to the business of traveling home and posting more serious stuff. Until then, let’s enjoy the last few pieces of the view, the final few moments of the game, the lingering taste of the visit.
