It’s August.
That statement, simple as it is, could be punctuated a number of different ways for me:
- It’s August! Read as: THANK GOODNESS! We’re almost done with summer!
- It’s August? Read as: How did THAT happen? Where did the time go? I have so much left to do!!!
- It’s August?!? Read as: Oh no, here we go again, into the armpit of summer…
Summer is winding down, back-to-school is gearing up, and I’m addressing that with a crafty cooking sort of family fun suggestion over at the Catholic Family Fun website.
