I’ve been following Barb at Franciscan Mom (formerly SFO Mom) since my early days of blogging. And I believe she’s been reading my stuff about that long, too.
So when she offered to be part of the Book Tour, I had a warm fuzzy moment.
And then, then she referenced something in her review that made me realize, yet again, how much I love her:
What I like best about Catholic Family Fun is that you don’t have to go all “Clark W. Griswold” on your family to incorporate the activities described in this book. Just build it in; don’t force it.
Have I mentioned lately that Christmas Vacation is one of my all-time favorite movies? Well, think what you will, but it is. I’m chuckling now at the thought of it, and maybe I’ll even watch it soon.
And the thought of Catholic Family Fun as in that league…well, maybe it’s something my publisher is frowning about, maybe it’s something I shouldn’t endorse, but I can’t help but think that if CFF makes you smile like that, together, then I’ve done my job.
Correction: the HOLY SPIRIT has done HIS job.
Oh yikes, hope I don’t get you in trouble with your publisher over this. But you can’t think “overboard” without thinking about good old Clark.
