I lay my head down, exhausted, and I give up all my problems to You.
Your Mother strokes my temple, wipes the tear from my eye.
I snuggle closer, and feel the strength of my Father as I slowly, surely, give up my worries.
The journey to relaxing, to letting go, is smooth and sure.
With You by my side, I am sure-footed and swift.
With You as my guide, I am in the Light and the path is wide.
Hold me closer, help me let go.
Be my quilt, protecting me from the chill of fear and worry.
Let me do Thy will, with joy in my heart and a spring in my step.
Grant me the grace to smile at Your desires,
Let me bear my cross and see it for the splinter it is.
Thank you for leaving me with a beautiful picture of Jesus’quilt
I’m glad you enjoyed it, Anon!
