The tree, fresh from the National Forest, is a bit…sparse. But we are fond of it, of the big empty spaces (perfect for those awkward ornaments that get all squished in a farm-grown tree) and of its early tendency to dive straight for the floor. (That’s all taken care of now, thank goodness!) We have to love this tree for fitting in, for not taking away from the view, but for allowing the view to be a part of its own beauty.
