• Finish packing. (You mean that can be FINISHED?)
  • Look for that list of things not to forget to pack. Sigh and decide to recreate it.
  • Wonder idly if baby is sick or teething after sleepless night of much Tylenol.
  • Run errands while helpful teenage babysitter plays with oldest, including trip to grocery, dry cleaner, and – oh dear, what was the other thing?
  • Make a list of things to do today.
  • Check on sleeping baby and plugged in kiddo.
  • Wonder if I should take a shower or continue tooling around online.
  • Go searching for the to do list, and glance at the clock. Baby’s not up yet (is it worth trying to take a quick shower or is it to close to wake up time?), sitter will be here in a bit…
  • Put basket of wet clothes by back door to go out on the line.
  • Type in list on blog, glancing at clock again.
  • Decide to remove all clocks from house.
  • Take call from the Trip Chieftain and realize that leaving time is getting REALLY close.
  • Pour another cup of coffee and run for the bathroom, quick, before I hear the baby wail.
  • Email itinerary to those who need to know.
  • Relax! This is going to be FUN! (Four kids, two moms, a Celebration, and then visits to a Kitchen Madonna and family.)
